SOUL FOOD SUNDAYS
In response
to many requests, Dukes is expanding its
menu and
making each Sunday, Soul Food Sunday. Most of
the menu
items are shipped in fresh from locations “down
South” and
many of the (secret) spices used are received
weekly.
The menu will vary slightly each Sunday and will
always
include, at least, six entrees and six sides along with
made from
scratch corn bread, beverages and desserts.
Typical
menu items include fried chicken, turkey and dressing
and
smothered pork chops. Side dishes include down home
greens,
black-eyed peas and sweet potatoes. This is
authentic
soul food at its best. In addition, to every church
or
non-profit group that dines at Dukes on Soul Food Sunday,
ten
percent of the food receipts will be donated back to that
organization.
Soul
Food Sunday is perfect for lunch or dinner with menu
selections
available from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. No reservations
required.
